Tongans also adopt children. Sometimes if a couple cannot have their own children they may ask other people if they can bring up their child.
Some families may be poor so others help them bring up their children.
I wouldn't be lonely in Tonga, I am sure I would find someone here who would be my parent. But now Ev and Rich are my good friends and they take care of me.
