As well as steam coming through the earth, in some places the mud bubbles too.
It is so unusual to watch this. You can also feel that the ground is hot in some places when you walk on it.
It must have been very strange to the Maori when they arrived here and a bit dangerous. Are there any weird things where you live? Please tell me.
