Rotorua is famous in New Zealand. It is a place where steam comes out of the ground because the hot rocks that are in the middle of the earth are closer to the surface. I could see all the steam from my hotel window.
Also they are lots of pretty rock formations and pools. It is a beautiful place but there is one thing wrong.
It smells of bad eggs. Richard told me this is sulphur which is in the steam. I got used to it after a day or so though.
